After the software update, about the resin bottle problem.

I updated the UNIZ program today. And I tried printing to the printer. However, the following message was displayed and failed.

I turned the printer back on and reinserted the resin bottle several times. But I still get an error message.

Today I have to print but I can not. I am really angry, and my OL printer gives me tremendous stress.

I think you are liars. You did not explain the resin lock. I live in Korea and have too much money to buy your resin, including shipping.

Do you plan to unlock the resin on the OL printer? If not, refund me all costs for my OL printer.

The good news is the resin lock will be removed in the next software update according to a Uniz post here recently! The DRM function was discussed in the comments section during the campaign but a few people missed it. There have been quite a few people with the same error you mention, so I’m not sure if there is a workaround offered until the next update.

Thanks for the good news. The news that the resin DRM will be removed is really good news. When is the next updater? The version of UNIZ program was updated yesterday (Uniz_setup_x64_1.2.1.119). However, the program still displays an error message.

It’ll be removed in the next firmware version(4.4), it’s under testing and will be released soon. For now, you can restart the printer to have a try when you get the error message and you make sure the bottle is in place.

Of course I restarted the printer several times. Even I just restarted the printer again and set up a troublesome WiFi setup. However, the program still displays the same error message. So I can not use my printer? Is there any other solution I can try?

Have a try with another bottle.

There is a small black label on the resin bottle and a reader on the resin bottle holder, so you should make sure the reader can read the small black label.

I noticed that your bottle says zUDP Gray but in the slicing resin type on your screenshot, it says zABS gray. I think you have to have the resin type match the bottle. I am not sure if this is true but it did solve my problem when I got the error message.

Thank you, Jonathan. However, the same error message is displayed even change type zUDP Gray. I replaced it with orange resin and rebooted the printer. No more error messages are displayed.
