Slash OL. After the upgrade the software doesnt see the printer

Hey, just got my printer.

Upgraded to latest firmware and the printer desnt appear anymore in the uniz soft.

Not with wifi, lan or usb.

Please advice.

Can you provide a screen shot of the software interface? Did you select the right printer type?

I have managed to find the printer – it shows under wrong type. I have OL and now it appears under PLUS UDP (see the image)

That’s because you are still in the trial. It mentions that somewhere in the manual I think. Or maybe I just saw it on here or Facebook. After your trial expires, you’ll go back to selecting a Slash OL.

Im past the trial (which I only had for a day as the bloody thing kept not working on wireless of lan) got it working on USB, upgraded the firmware and BOOM not a trace.

UNIZ… Getting pretty sick of this!

If you think people are going to upgrade their printers or recommend them unless you improve things QUICK…

Sort your software out! What a waste of bloody time

Yep

turn it on and it stays on flashing red light and cant connect.

I’ll inform the embedded softwareteam to work on it. We will send you instruction on reverting back to 4.2. Sorry for the hassle.

The formware team suspects that the SD card is damaged during the update, they are preparing a new card for you.

Ok no problem. Rather than posting one out, can you email me what I need to put on the SD card and I will get an SD card here in the UK please?

The SD card will be fully prepared and mailed to you. You need to replace the old one in the printer physically. Please send your original order info to support@uniz.com, will let the support team prepare the shipment.
