Hi,
What should the correct distance be between the end of the resin pump tube and the VAT?
When the printer arrived I trimmed the tube so the distance is now approximately 1mm.
I think there should be more of a gap because the pump appears to be very bad a redrawing resin into the bottle?
Please can you advise.

Hi James, You’re right. There should be gap between pump tube and film of resin tank. We usually put a bevel at the head of tube.
For your issue, it seems because the holder of pump tube is loose. You can use a tape to stick pump tube and sensor to resin tank and test whether there is still problem when redrawing.
