“Cracking” sound on the first layers (slash plus)

Hello,

I use a Slash plus and at the first or the first two layers the Slash makes “cracking” sounds when the building platform goes up from the resin tank.

Then when it goes up at the second or third layer it is just a “plop”.

In this Video you can hear the sounds.

Is this “cracking” Sound normal and if not, how can i fix it?

Hi Sebastian, the video cannot be played.

Did you print a large area in the first layer? You can set motor speed of the first layer to “Low” to reduce this sound.

I believe that it is the resin that sticks between the tank and platform. It also did the cracking sound on my 1x1cm cube. It sometimes does this and sometimes dont, im not sure why tho.

Hello Hanson,

now you can see the Video, it was on private, my fault.

I think Steen is right, it does not depend on the Surface size, it sounds like the first layer stick to much on the Tank an the Motor has some Problem with that.

And because of the “plop”, the support answer me:

Our engineer advise you to plug the air pump out ,there will not have the “plop”. and recently ,we will launch the newest software version ,will repair this problem, if the printed model is bigger, there will be the plop”
