I am getting cracking where the lid and enclosure meet on both sides and it is getting worse. The lid closes without an impact because the hinges are tight, so I don’t believe this is caused directly when closing the lid. Has anyone else experienced this?

This is another example of how lousy this machine is made.
You probably used alcohol or some other chemical to wipe up the spattered resin and it smear into the hinge and melted mechanism. You have to use lots of alcohol to utilize this system and yet the building material is extremely vulnerable to alcohol. Do not use alcohol to wipe up the machine!
