No single success with zABS green

Hi, I have issues with the zABS Green resin manufactured in Jun 2018. With the pre-defined exposure times in the UniZ software for this resin. It never sticks to the build platform on my UniZ Slash v3.15 (shown as Slash+ in the software).

If I increase the exposure time to 25.5 s it sticks, but after certain layer the next layer doesn‘t stick to the previous layer.

3rd Party resin works fine, so I doubt, that the printer is not working properly. It seems to me, that the resin is not okay. I tried two different bottles, but both are not working fine and I am a little bit disappointed, since the pre-defined settings are one of the big advantages of the UniZ 3D Slash+

Hi, can you show me your desktop software version? For zABS resin,10s cure time for first 3 layers, and 2-3s for the rest of the layers. BTW, you should shake the resin before use, if you haven’t used it for a long time.

Hi, thank you for your quick reply.

I always shake the resin before printing. I am using Uniz Desktop version 1.2.0.94 on Mac OS.

The default settings for zABS Green are 2.3 s and 14 s for the first 3 layers.

BTW: I print at 250 W

The settings are not the big problem. If the next layer doesn‘t stick to the previous layer, you can increase a little cure time to try.

Thanks, but what is then the advantage of using the pricy UniZ resin instead of 3rd party resin, if I have to experiment with the exposure time. And I also can‘t print any object from the model store 🙁
Even printed layers with original zABS green at 0.05 mm looks terrible.

That is disappointing since the big advantage is the original resin with pre-defined settings – so like plug‘n‘play.

Anything else I can do w/o experimenting for every print with exposure times?
