Printer going through the motions, but not printing anything

I am hoping someone can help me with this. I just received my Slash OL and can’t get it to print at all.

When I send the print to the printer, it goes through all the motions of printing, but at the end of the print there is nothing on the build platform and no solidified resin in the tank. It’s like the resin isn’t curing at all.

I have done Z height calibration and am shaking the resin very well before printing, but still nothing.

I am using zUDP gray resin.

Has anyone else run into this?

Thanks. 🙂

Have you tried this in control panel to test if the LCD is working?

The Logo does display for about 1 second.

Did you check the bottom of Resin Tank before printing? Is there any debris left from previous exposures? Please try the cleaning procedure in this https://www.uniz.com/us_en/page/support_slash_printing_and_maintance/

and try printing again. If possible, please post photos of the LCD when showing Logo, Build Platform, and bottom of Resin Tank. Thanks.

Here are some images. UNIZ told me to increase LED brightness to 300. But, I haven’t gotten to try it yet as I am running into a “printer busy’ dialog when I try to print.

I am also getting this error. But if you look in the upper right, my firmware is v4.3.

Wow, this is new…I’ll let the firmware team know.

I am so disappointed with this machine. After almost three weeks of trying I have not been able to get any resin to cure, not even a little bit in the bottom of the tank.

I have tried with both the resins that came with the machine and still no luck. Pretty much giving up at this point. my guess is there is something seriously wrong with this machine. My advice to anyone looking at UNIZ printers is to stay away. I should have just gone with a Formlabs printer.

Can you post the settings for your prints?
