Shocking delivery charges?

Uniz can someone answer this please! I have tried to order the new replacement Coolant Module using a provided discount code. The price of $99 seems fair, but when I look at delivery charges from the list of choices I am shocked by the amounts quoted. Surely this is not as intended for such a small (weight) item to the UK. Two bottles of resin ordered previously cost me $17.25 for shipping. Please clarify.

Anybody else here ordered the Coolant Module? How much shipping was paid & where to?

I did order it some weeks ago it was with shipping 180 $ to Germany

Thanks. Even that sounds high. $99 for the module & $81 for delivery. They want $202.84 to the UK and thats the cheapest choice! Something is wrong here surely.

There was a special international shipping including customs fee I did choose at that time

@Uniz – Will you be shipping the Coolant Module from your Rotterdamm warehouse in the near future? Surely this will be a cheaper option for customers? Can we get some Company communication goin on here.. Obviously it’s good for business.. Thanks!

Well they do need a way to make more money.  I would never pay that much for shipping.  Something is very wrong…..

I think there is a fault with the shipping cost app, for the last couple of months the fee to send 2 resin and one lcd module was going to be $1600 to the UK. I mentioned this a few weeks ago and someone from uniz said they would fix it but nothing so far. I could fly there buy the materials and fly back and have change out of the delivery costs alone or just go and buy another make.

As far as postage goes ……..I agree I need one bottle and the delivery to UK is double the resin!!! They really need more money for their other projects and this is how they are going to do it.

I bought an LED module off them over  one and a half years ago and it still has not arrived!!!!!

So if you want resin or anything from them buy it two years before you need it!!!!!

In my opinion Uniz staff should be all over this forum trying to correct said complaints, or at least offer hope for future improvements. Delivery of products seems be a major bug bear with lack feedback. I hope this improves by the time of the Slash UDP rollout. At least an explanation as to the difficulties their having would apease somewhat!

The freight amount provided on our official website is based on the freight quoted from the US freight station to your place, so the freight cost for customers in Europe will be quite expensive. Before the good news is that we have been in the planning of the warehouse in Europe is about to online, at the appointed time, we will release it, and European users can place an order from the warehouse to make freight more reasonable.I’m very sorry for the trouble caused to you by the previous freight problem.

Perhaps Uniz should review their contract with their freight forwarders and tell them to get their act together. If I can get a delivery from China to the UK in 3 days at minimal cost, Uniz had better look to their International competitors to see how they can do it.

Thanks for the timely update of information. I Will look forward to the announcement along with reasonable delivery costs!

Hello everyone, the European station is online. You can change your location at the bottom of our webpage(as the picture shown)

Welcome to use and feedback.

Thanks for the update guys.. but what happened to the new coolant module for the Original Slash? I chose the UK as my location as indicated above, then find after entering the Store that it is nowhere to be seen! I need to order one a.s.a.p to rid my machine of the dreadful coolant lines! Any advice/information would be appreciated thanks.

P.S. Could one be shipped with my new Slash OL when it arrives to save on delivery?

on June 23, 2018

It was too difficult for users to replace the coolant module, which could easily cause leakage and damage to the machine, so the sale of the new cooling plate was suspended.

I suggest you to solve the problem through UDP swap kit on the kickstarter’s campaign to avoid the trouble caused by yourself replacement.

on June 23, 2018

Thanks. I understand now. I would like to wait until I receive my Slash OL before returning my original Slash as I need at least one working machine. Will it be possible to return my Slash for upgrade after receiving the OL at the Slash UDP swap kit kickstarter price? If so how do I go about it? I also understand delivery cost will be met half way as mentioned in the Slash UDP campaign. Please advise.

I need to consult my superior about your needs. I can’t decide it by myself, can you leave your email or contact our support so that we can feedback to you?

on July 3, 2018

I agree with you StevieRich. Makes sense and I wish to do the same. I managed to change location to UK…..guess what someone thinks we use Euros here. I see the resin is in stock and delivery is only EURO19.59. But get this…although in stock it is expected to get here end of September. It is the 3rd July so pretty much 3 months wait!!!!!! I upgraded to the UDP also so maybe that machine will arrive before? Guess I have a rather large paper weight at the moment…

@Uniz I have submitted a support request in the “place an order section” of your website, this was over a week ago now! Needless to say there has been no response. How am I to best move forward with said enquiry thanks.

on July 5, 2018

@Ian – Thanks for the order info. It sounds like they have limited resin stock, so are holding back the majority for the UDP rollout! Just a guess though.

Did you try to contact our sales@uniz.com to check out?
