I have a Samsung 213T LCD monitor. It’s about 6 years old. The problem I’m having is that there are vertical lines on the display. I’m convinced the problem is the monitor hardware because I tried it on a different PC and the same issue exists.
Here is the thing. The space between the vertical lines changes depending on the screen resolution. At a low resolution, the lines are far apart. At a high resolution, the lines become close together and the visibility improves.
I’m willing to purchase a new monitor but I was curious if this could be something easy to fix. Aside from the lines, the monitor works very well.
Based on the description could this be something easy like a ribbon cable contact needs cleaned/re-seated inside the monitor?
Appreciate any advice or feedback.

Please help

I didn’t find the right solution from the internet.
