Hello UNIZ;
Since I did not get much success with UDP printing so far, I decided to try one of the example provided with the latest software update in UNIZ Desktop. I thought that since the model was provided by UNIZ with them have selected the printer setting than it should be a good example of what can be done in UDP.
I printed the dental model included in the example for UDP printing. I used the settings that came with the model as provided by UNIZ. Printed with SLASH Plus UDP. I mixed the resin well before printing.
1- The model is quite rough, with very visible layers so not really usable as a lab model. There are also fissures in part of the model as if the motor speed was too high to allow enough time for the layer to stick to one another.
2- During the print part of the model stuck to the film and caused a thin layer of the film to tear away from the rest. See photos of the resin tank. This led to that part remaining stuck to the resin tank film and break off the model.
The broken part is visible beside the model
Can you tell me what I did wrong if anything….. or is the technology in need of further improvements ???
